Changing plans at the last minute

Sadly, we’ve un-picked our plans to visit Mexico. With the increased pandemic level by the WHO and the massive closings, we decided it wouldn’t be such a great trip – we wouldn’t get to visit the Mayan ruins as planned, we might run into some issues with respect to cancelled flights, and our friends and family were hassling us a lot. My husband’s boss even told him to work from home for a week after we were to return!
Although I’m incredibly sad that we won’t be traveling with one of my dearest friends and her husband and I’m totally crazed about planning our replacement trip, I’m also looking forward to it. We’re flying in and out of Frankfurt, Germany for just $50 more (total, not per person) than our airfare to Mexico (under Delta’s policy, we were able to change the tickets without paying a change fee; not as nice as American’s option of a refund, but better than nothing). Our tentative plans include checking out plenty of castles and perhaps Czeching out Prague. haha
Because we haven’t planned this trip at all, I’ll probably not have time to post much over the next couple of weeks. Sorry! I promise I’ll try to give you some good info once we’re back though.
