TTT: Hulu

Have you seen the ads for Hulu.com featuring Faith (aka Eliza Dushku)?  Love them!  Anyway, on to the point.  A friend of mine recently suggested that another friend check out Hulu.com while planning and prepping for her trip.  Brilliant!  So that’s my travel tip to you this week.

Go on over and search for Iceland (yes, I’m still obsessed and hoping to head over in 2010).  It’ll link you to a couple of National Geographic specials, Land of Fire and Ice and Blue Lagoon.  In the alternative, you could tickle your funny bone by watching a clip from The Colbert Report.

Going to China?  You’ll find a National Geographic special on the terracotta warriors, NOVA’s Secrets of Lost Empires II, and Bill Moyers’ Journal: China 2008.

There are some great options if you’re heading to Thailand: Any Given Latitude: Thailand, Wildboys: Thailand, and Frontline World – Thailand: Women for Peace.

Great idea! We only use Hulu for a few TV shows. Perhaps something more educational would be better. :)
