TTT: Check out how many ships will be in port

My travel tip this Tuesday is for cruisers.  Check out PortTime when making your plans for your ports.  My favorite way to use this website: select your ship and then select your departure date.  For our cruise, I can see there will be two other ships in port with us on two days, one on one day, and none on the other two port days.  PortTime even provides the passenger load total for the ships.  While this information may not sway your plans, it just might.  When there are are several ships in port, everyone will be hitting the most popular tourist spots.  If you do a bit more research, you might just find a more off-the-beaten-path way to enjoy your time that won’t involve competing for chairs at the top beach.
