PSA: St. Patrick’s Day is March 15, 2008

St. Patrick’s Day is ordinarily celebrated on March 17 each year.  When that date falls during Holy Week, however, the church (fyi: this is a Catholic holiday, so they are the boss of when it is) sometimes moves it.  They decided to move it to March 15 for 2008.  Make sure to wear green and make your plans to celebrate on Saturday instead of Monday.  If you want to go somewhere in particular, double check to see if they’re celebrating on the official day (March 15) or the traditional day (March 17).  Raleigh knows, so I’m inclined to think that local businesses are also aware.  Hope your day is happy and your rivers green!
