My in-laws live in Madison County, so they knew just where we should go to eat – the Mountain Magnolia Inn.  We passed through Mars Hill and saw the charming campus of Mars Hill College and then continued on really winding roads until we reached Hot Springs.  Hot Springs is tiny, with a population of just 645 in 2000.
