What not to wear on a plane

CNN just published another brilliant article by Chrisopher Elliott – What not to wear on a plane.  Elliott recommend that you skip: uncomfortable/dangerous shoes, light colors, tight-fitting clothing, sythentic fabrics, and anything with a strong odor. 

I have a bit of advice of my own to add.  First, skip the waist/fanny pack.  Sure, they’re more comfortable than carrying a purse, but do you really want pictures of yourself with that added bulk?  Pare down what you need so it fits in a pocket and/or neck pouch/money belt or deal with a backpack or messenger bag.  Second, be careful not to wear an outfit that might be considered too provacative – you might get threatened to be kicked off a Southwest flight.
