News: NY to offer enhanced drivers license

Do you remember the new passport card I posted about a few months ago?  New York and the Department of Homeland Security have been working on an enhanced license which will provide essentially the same thing – an ID for visiting Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at a cost less than a passport but more than a standard drivers license.  Read more at AuburnPub.  It’ll be interesting to see whether these things take off and whether other states will offer them.
