TTT: Eating on the cheap

My tip today is a restaurant website and a coupon code.   Even though you’re more likely to use this at home, it’s just too good not to share. 

At Restaurant.com, you can purchase gift certificates for restaurants at a discount.  For example, I typed in my zip code and found certificates to An, a fancy Asian place I’ve wanted to try for a while, and Carmen’s Cuban Cafe, a cool Cuban restaurant and salsa dancing club I just heard about.  The site regularly sells $25 gift certificates to these places for only $10.  Until March 5, enter the coupon code TASTY, and you’ll get an additional 50% off.  That’s a $25 gift certificate for only $5!

Of course there’s a catch.  One gift certificate per party per month and a requirement to spend at least $35.  *sigh*  It’s still worth it to get such a great discount.
