Leeds Castle in Kent is my favorite castle in England.  It’s unbelievably picturesque.  If you have the chance to visit, go for it!

European Travelers May Be Fingerprinted

Did you know that Europeans visiting the US on a visa must be fingerprinted upon entry into the country?  Payback seems imminent.  The EU plus a couple non-EU countries are talking about implementing a similar policy.  Read more here.  My favorite bit: “‘It’s boys with toys. They want to have the toys the Americans have,’ Gus Hosein of the group Privacy International told Reuters.”  *rolling eyes*  Yes, I’m sure the Europeans just want to play with fingerprinting machines; the Europeans are never concerned with security.  (JIC you were wondering, I was holding a sarcasm sign.)

Refunds from British Air and Virgin Atlantic

If you flew BA or VA between August 11, 2004 and March 23, 2006 for a long-haul, you are eligible for a refund.  These guys are in trouble for price-fixing on fuel surcharges.  Read more about it here.
